Every dollar reaches a senior in May.
Gifts to the general fund are awarded the following spring. Gifts to a named fund join that fund. The foundation’s running costs are paid from the endowment draw, so donations are not spent on them.

Events drop off by themselves the day after. Gala tickets on a real site link to the foundation’s ticketing page; the site itself sells nothing. The part of a ticket above the cost of dinner is stated on the ticket, as the IRS asks for payments over $75 that include something in return.
